These Organic Cinnamon Quills, also known as Ceylon or 'true' cinnamon, are from the bark from the 'Cinnamomum Verum' plant. Ideal for steeping or infusing a cinnamon flavour and aroma into a range of both sweet and savoury dishes. Snap in half to release the scent! No GMO. Chemical and pesticide free. Non-irradiated. HOW TO USE
Organic cinnamon is used in baking, stewed fruits, curries, drinks such as chai, mulled wine and chocolate drinks. It also provides flavour to homemade chutneys, pickles and relishes. Organic cinnamon is thought to be one of the oldest spices in the world. It is popular in Ayurveda, where is is used as a remedy for diabetes, indigestion and colds. It is often recommended for people with the kapha Ayurvedic type. It also has a long history in traditional chinese medicine for several ailments.

The bark is removed, dried then rolled into quills.
